Q. How do you define an Ugly Sweater?

Ugly Sweater (noun): An overly-gaudy garment that is often adorned with large applique or knitted cartoon-like figures. The more beading, bells, buttons and sequins - the better!

Q. Are your sweaters used?

Yes. All of our Ugly Sweaters are secondhand, which means they may bear signs of slight wear. If they have major imperfections or significant wear, they have been discounted and the flaw is noted next to the photo. Each and every one of our sweaters has been washed and restored to prime ugliness. Our sweater elves do the hard work for you: removing pills, lint, snags and bad juju, so that your Ugly will arrive contest ready. Guar-an-teed. 

 

Q. I see a sweater I like - do you have it in a different size?
It's possible but not likely. We inventory so many sweaters, it's had to keep track of those that have matching brothers or sisters in the warehouse. Multiple sizes of the same sweater happen, but you will have to dig around on the site to find them.

It's possible but not likely.  We inventory so many sweaters, it is hard to keep track of those that have matching brothers or sisters in the warehouse. Duplicates happen, but you will have to dig around on the site to find them. 



SHIPPING

Q. How quickly do you process my order?

We ship everyday and will to ship your sweater out within 24-48 hours of order placement and payment. We recommend giving yourself extra time to get sweaters over the holiday's as the postal service seems to take longer to deliver during those times. (we are not responsible for extended delivery times as can't control the postal service)

 

Q. How quickly will my sweater arrive?

You can choose the best shipping method for you during the check-out process. If you would prefer overnight or guaranteed shipping, please call or email us.

Estimated arrival times are:

  • Domestic USPS Priority = 3-5 business days (includes tracking number)
  • Domestic USPS Express = 1-2 business days (includes tracking number)
  • International USPS Priority = 6-10 business days (no tracking service)
  • International USPS Express = 3-5 business days (no tracking service)

*Please note that only USPS Express (USA) is guaranteed. We do not provide refunds for USPS Priority or USPS Express International packages that are delivered outside of the estimated delivery times.

 

Q. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship all over the world! Shipping cost differs according to location. To estimate the price of your international shipment, head on over to ircalc.usps.gov and use the shipping calculator. We ship from US zip code 63112. Select "package," and input 2 lbs. per sweater.

 

Q. Do you provide tracking numbers?

Yes and No. For all U.S. shipments, the United States Postal Service offers a tracking number. This number will be sent to you in an email once your sweater has shipped. For international shipments, a customs number is available for packages sent as International Priority. This just confirms whether a shipment has left the U.S. and entered your country. Express International packages DO provide tracking numbers to the end of the delivery route.  

 

Q. Do you ship over the holidays?

Yes we ship every day that the US post office is open!

 

PRICING

Q. How do you price your sweaters?

The uglier the sweater, the more it will cost. If a sweater bears signs of extreme wear or has major imperfections, the sweater is discounted and the flaw is outlined next to the photo.

 

RETURN POLICY

Q. Do you accept returns?

No, we have a no return policy.

We do not refund or exchange sweaters due to sizing issues- please see our sizing page for more info, and to ensure a good fit before you buy.

If you have another issue with your sweater, we may be able to offer you an exchange. You can contact us at the info listed in the "GENERAL" section at the top of this page or on our "CONTACT" page.

 

Q. Can I cancel my order if you haven't processed it yet?

Maybe. Act fast! You can only cancel your order if we haven't processed and shipped it yet. We will refund you in full. However, we subtract the fees that the credit card processors charge us for the order and there is a $1.00 cancellation fee.
