The Ugly Sweater Store sells real vintage ugly Christmas sweaters: hand-picked, washed, restored and shipped from St. Louis, Missouri. Most of our sweaters are one of a kind, so whatever you pick, nobody else at the party will be wearing it.

How it started

Our owner, Mike Golomb, grew up in the '80s and '90s teasing his mom, a kindergarten teacher, about her silly Christmas sweaters. She always told him, "You're going to need one of these one day." Twenty years later he was invited to an ugly sweater party, couldn't find a sweater anywhere, and ended up missing the party. He figured plenty of other people had the same problem, so he started a business to help them find one.

Born and raised in Chicago and now based in St. Louis, Mike has collected more than 30,000 ugly sweaters. We do the shopping for you.
